When building Disneyland, one memory of a dilapidated carousel from his childhood stuck out in Walt Disney's memory. As he excitedly got on the carousel, he was disappointed to find that his horse, with faded paint chipping off, was stationary and didn't jump up and down like the other horses. He left feeling dejected not getting the magical experience he had hoped for. 

 

Years later, as he oversaw the construction of his namesake theme park, Disney wanted to make sure that every guest at Disneyland got that magical experience. Thus the mantra "no chipped paint, all the horses jump" was born. It was a belief that no detail should be overlooked in the pursuit of perfection. It meant that anything worth doing, is worth doing right. And it's the motivating force that inspires my work for Chipped Paint Media. Much like Walt Disney in his pursuit of a magical experience, I strive to bring the same commitment and passion to my photography.

The Chipped Paint Media brand was created in July of 2021, and it serves as a tangible representation of my passion for all types of photography. My goal is to produce photographs that invoke the same emotions that I feel looking through the viewfinder. Enjoy.
